Tour de Lentil

It's been a while since my last post but things have been crazy. The students just got back in town this week and and life just sped up about five notches. I just got back from the festivitoes at the National Lentil Festival for friday night. I had a great time they had some excellent live music and free food, always a good mix.
Tomorrow I have a big day. I heard a few weeks ago that they had a bike ride with the lentil festival called the Tour De Lentil. It's whats called a metric century ( 100k). I've been riding alot the past two years and I thought it would be fun to try. Now I'm thinking I might have bitten off more that I can chew. 100k equals 60 miles, I've gone on some long rides but none this far. I think I can pull it off but it'll be a stretch. Which I suppose could be good at least I hope so. I'll let you know how ir goes.

Back in Washington/ Rafting Trip

I've been back in Pullman for about a week. I had the great luck of being able to go on a rafting trip the last part of this week with the men's group at my church Christian Life Center. It was incredible. I rafted down sections of both the Salmon and Snake Rivers and got to go through some pretty rough white water. We camped out under the stars and ate some great food. And I got to do a bit of cliff jumping into the river. I'll put some pictures up from the trip soon.
