Irritation

I just wrote like a three paragraph entry and my computer just randomly turned off. And let me just say I'm a little ticked. I'll repost the old one later as I cool off and finish my Christmas shopping.

Retreat and other stuff

I just got back from the annual northwest light confrence. It's basically a retreat for all the Chi Alpha staff in the Northwest (Washington, Idaho and Oregon). It was pretty fun, nice to get away for a few days and be around some other people doing the same thing I am. Michael Mowry(my old intern director) challenged me to write and record some of my music. Something that I've been thinking of doing for some time but just never done just because its not easy. So I'm making that a new goal as well playing more in public and actually trying to get some gig's. Which should'nt be to hard here in the Pullman - Moscow area.
Speaking of goals let me say that I just flat out failed at my weight loss goal for Xmas, so I'm adjusting the goal to the end of finals week this spring and make it at least 30lbs. I think it's do-able but not easy which might be what I need to get my butt in gear.
The real exciting thing thats coming up is heading home to see my parents and my brothers familyfor a while this Xmas break. I'm looking forward to seeing them and catching up with all of them. The only bummer is that I can only stay a little over a week and I'm flying back on Xmas day so I don't miss to many days for my party time job.

Snow

Well we had our first big snowfall hit yesterday. We got about 3 inches yesterday and an extra inch last night. Uncoincidentally, one of the first things I saw yesterday when I walked out the house was a 3 car accident in our back alleyway. Winter is here. On a brighter note my core(small group) is going sledding tonight. There are definately some upswings to the white stuff but it does make things more complicated
