EMP

I had the opportunity hang out in Seattle this weekend while I was over on the west side for a friends (Chris Trevino's) wedding. The service was pretty nice, small and casual. I stayed over at another friends house for Saturday night and had the opportunity to check out the experience music project in downtown Seattle. In some ways it was like a really well done walk-in VH-1 Special. However, It had some very cool interactive displays. The thing that impressed me most was the "Jam room on the third floor. It was full of instrument, nice ones too, that were wired into computers that taught you the basics, intermediate, or even some advanced techniques and songs. On top of that you can connect with other people in the room and jam with them. We spent four hours touring the place and still didn't get to see everything. If your ever in Seattle and feeling touristy and have appreciation for rock and popular music I'd recommend checking out.
