This happened last week but I think its funny enough that it still deserves to be published. I was really hoping to be able to make it to the Coug vs. Stanford game so I was pretty disappointed to discover it was sold out. However, Ashley one of the students living In the XA house, said I could use her sports pass to get in the game. ( basically an optional student pass that gets them into any athletic event). I was a little skeptical that this was legal but she assured me that it was ok. So I thought I'd give it a shot and if it didn't work out, no big deal right.
Well it turns out that it is a big deal to use someone else's sports pass. I handed the lady at the gate Ashley's card to get in. She looked at me gave the card a glance and simply said " This isn't going to work"(luckily for Ashley we look nothing alike). I was expecting at that point to be able/asked to leave. I expected wrong. I was taken into the stadium to see a series of no less that
four people who simply looked at the card and at me to be absolutely positive it was not my card. I finally got taken to a room with several police officers in it, was briefly interrogated, then was officially kicked out of the stadium (you know, the one I wasn't in in the first place) with instructions not to come within 100 Ft of the stadium concourse or I could be arrested! So I went home played video games, watched a movie, cleaned my room, and enjoyed an unexpectedly quiet afternoon. We lost the game anyway, to quote the announcer "The Cardinal fell on us."
