The Chronicles of Narnia

I just saw the movie a few hours ago. I really enjoyed it. I thought the CGI was done well and in my humble opinion the actors did a great job . The script writers and directors were faithful to the book which was my only major concern going into it. I give it two thumbs up.

Where I've been or "I haven't been everywhere man"

I found a cool site through a friends blog that will generate a map of all the states that you have visited. Looks like I'm at about half. Evidently all the states I visit become republican :).

"Face Off" for real?

I usually don't post twice in one day but this was so unusual, weird, and disturbing I had too. The first face transplant has been successfully completed. A woman was attacked by a dog and her face was permanently malformed from it. So they they took a face from a deceased person and grafted it to her head. Thats one movie prediction I was not expecting to see fullfilled. Joke opportunities abound with this but right now I'm too tired to take advantage of it. If you come up with something good leave a comment.

A Rubik's Cube Feat

One of my friends Ben Hutchkinson has been playing around with a Rubik's Cube (one of those multi-colored cube puzzles from the eighties) for the last few days. This afternoon I was present when he completed it in four and a half minutes. Being a kid in the eighties I was immediately impressed/flaborgasted, so much so I told him that I'd write about his exploit on my blog.
In other news it is currently "0" degrees outside in Pullman Washington. Thats why I'm inside:)

It's still snowing

It has not stopped snowing since the last time I posted. We have at least a foot of snow on the ground, and its supposed to continue snowing the next two days . I have never in my life so much snow fall so quickly.
The other morning I spent about 10 minutes cleaning off my car. The first song that played on the radio when I got in my car was about this guys who went through these horrible situations during the verses and the chorus went, "There's a beach somewhere". All I could say was, amen brother :). Snow can be fun but man it can be a pain too.
