So I was looking at the Zoe Cafe website and saw that they put up a little blurb about me on their page. for my show on Friday. I'm touched.

I stumbled upon a great resource for people involved in worship ministry of some kind. Its a free text over video presentation program called Adoration. I've just played around with it a little this morning and it looks really cool. Best of all the price is right, these types of program can run $200 and up.
I got a Birthday card this morning from a hotel I stayed in while I was in Thailand last year! It was a little random. I also got a card from my parents. Thanks Mom and Dad!
Today I turned 29. Wow where did the last ten years go. It was a good day. I got to talk to my family, hangout with some friends, and eat some cake ( an important part of any b-day). Next stop thirty. Yikes, that just does not sound right.:o!!
We'll I had my first "Singer songwriter" type gig tonight. It was pretty fun I had a few friends stop by and the people at the coffee shop said they enjoyed the music. At the least they're polite :). I'm scheduled to play again on June 2. I'll try to remember my camera then so I can post up some pictures. Anyway its late and I got a book I want to finnish tonight.
So last night I decided at the last minute to go check out an open mike night at a new coffee shop here in Pullman. The place is called Zoe Cafe. I was the only guy who showed up to play outside of the guy running it. So he let me play for about 30-40 minutes. Afterwards he came up to me and asked me if I'd be willing to play there this Friday by myself. If that was'nt cool enough the owner came up to me and complemented me ans said he would like to see me pla there again as well. He said he would get back to me sometime in the next couple days. It looks like this might turn into a consistent thing. Pretty fun and exciting evening!
So Ron told me that while he and Tommy were on their cruise the ship was caught in a bad storm. So bad that all three masts on they're ship broke off!! They had to get towed fifty miles to a harbor by the Coast Guard. Everybody's alright but I'm sure thats something they won't be forgetting anytime soon. Here's a link to an article about the whole deal.
